Ronald McDonald is dressed in his red and yellow ensemble emblematic of the McDonald's brand color and wearing oversized attire reminiscent of the Commedia dell'arte's Harlequin combined with the iconic red balloon and sewer dwellings of Stephen King's horror-inducing clown from It, The McWorks series concentrates on our fascination with mascots and commercial iconography distilled into a pop culture mist mosh of visual artistry and combined with not-so-subtle nods to American Pop Art.  The stylized characters echo the ubiquitousness of fast-food culture in modern society and the symbols of commercialism/entertainment found in our everyday contemporary society.
